Clear instructions, quick delivery

I ordered the Women's Riviera Raglan pattern and some Cotton Lycra fabric. The pattern downloaded instantly after purchase, which was great. The fabric shipped out within two days and arrived well-packaged about 5 days later in California. I liked that the pattern came with projector files because I prefer not printing. The fabric quality feels nice, substantial but not too heavy. Everything was as described on the website, no surprises.

Decent patterns, some small issues

I bought the Classic T-Shirt pattern and some Rib knit fabric. The pattern itself was okay, pretty standard for a basic tee. The layered PDF option was helpful for printing just my size. The fabric arrived in good condition and felt soft. My only minor complaint was that the download link for the pattern was a little tricky to find in my account history at first. It eventually worked, but it took an extra minute to locate. Overall, a solid experience, but they could make the pattern access a bit more intuitive.

Got a good deal on fabric

I was looking for some good quality Double Brushed Poly for a dress and Peek-a-Boo had a sale going on. I signed up for their newsletter and got an extra 15% off my first order, which was nice. The fabric itself was reasonably priced even before the discount, and with the extra savings, it felt like a really good deal. Shipping was fair for the amount I bought. I'm always trying to save a buck, so I was pleased with the overall value.

Good pattern, easy to use

I bought the Comfy Cozy Hoodie pattern last week and it was really straightforward. The instructions were clear and I had no problems downloading the PDF. It came together pretty quick for a hoodie too. Definitely happy with how it turned out.

Is it worth joining their rewards program? Do you actually get good discounts from it, or is it just like tiny pennies off?

J Josh 1 month ago
I think so! The points add up pretty quick if you buy patterns regularly. I've gotten some nice discounts that way.

It's decent. You won't get a free pattern every week, but the points definitely convert into usable discount codes. Better than nothing, right?

Hey, I'm thinking about grabbing some patterns here. How do the sizes run for the adult stuff? Pretty true to size or should I size up/down?

R Ryan 2 months ago
I've found them pretty consistent with their size charts, just make sure you actually measure yourself. Don't just go by your usual store size.

Yeah, definitely measure! I made a dress pattern based on my measurements and it fit great. I wouldn't blindly size up.

Does anyone know if they ship the fabric to Canada? Dying to get my hands on some of their French Terry.

I'm pretty sure they do ship internationally, but you might want to double check their shipping policy on the site. I think I saw it mentioned somewhere.

They do! My friend in Toronto ordered some last year. Just be ready for potential customs fees, that's not on them.

Are these patterns legit? I've seen some sketchy sites pop up for sewing patterns and wanna make sure I'm not getting ripped off.

J James K. 1 month ago
Totally legit. Been buying from them for years. Super popular in the sewing community.

How do these patterns compare to like, Patterns for Pirates or Made for Mermaids? Are they pretty similar in style or more unique?

L Lisa 1 month ago
They're all in that same general indie pattern vibe, similar construction and fit-wise. Peek-a-Boo has a ton for kids, which is nice, but their adult line is solid too.

Yeah, I'd say they're pretty comparable. If you like P4P or M4M, you'll probably like Peek-a-Boo too. Good layering options and clear instructions generally.
